Zero is zero waste grocery shopping kit that is made with all natural materials with components that are naturally dyed. The kit includes a totepack and reusable cotton bags for grains, bread, and produce.

 

The main criteria for this project are: to address the ongoing issue of plastic waste and synthetic dyes, to achieve product longevity by creating a meaningful ritual between user and product, and to enforce a sustainable lifestyle.

Nada is a local grocery store in Vancouver that has no food packaging, so customers who shop there bring in their own reusable packaging. Since this grocery store reflects the same values as our project, we visited them to do research and gain insight.
